Abstract
Summary. Background. The postoperative period in arthroplasty is largely determined by hemodynamics state in the area of the affected organ. That is why it is especially important to identify the area of registration of hemodynamic functions, which objec- tively reflects microcirculation state in the affected joint. Objectives: comparative assessment of hemodynamic parameters of the interlayer shear in various microvasculature projections before and after surgery. Patients/Methods. An observational prospective cohort study was performed in 90 patients (53 with arthrosis of the hip joint, 37 with arthrosis of the knee joint), in the preopera- tive period and on the 6th day after hip or knee joint replacement. The average age of patients was 60.8 ± 9.2 years. Registration of hemodynamic indices of interlayer shear obtained by laser speckle interferometry was carried out simultaneously from the finger and the projection zones of healthy and affected joint. Results. It was found that the most significant changes of hemodynamic and oscillatory indices were observed both in the pre- and postoperative period, most pronouncedly manifested in the projec- tion zone of the affected joint. Conclusions. It is recommended for patients with arthrosis to determine hemodynamic functions both in the pre- and postoperative period in the projection area of the affected joint. The proposed methodology helps to assess the effectiveness and correct the applied therapy in the postoperative period.
