Abstract

We studied changes of blood rheological properties under the infl uence of plasmapheresis therapy (course from 1 to 4 procedures). Plasmapheresis restored suspension blood stability that normalized micro- and macrorheology parameters; haemorrhages disappeared; skin blood fl ow increased by 43;±;5,5%. Class of peripheral blood fl ow in hypertensive patients decreased from 14 to 11 and in patients with psoriatic arthritis — from 12 to 5. In hypertensive patients (who were resistive to basic therapy) we revealed reduction of index area of diastolic pressure by 4 times, and index area of mean arterial pressure decreased by more than 2,5 times at same therapy. In patients with ischemic heart disease the need for nitroglycerine decreased by 10,5 times, the need for prolonged nitrates — by 2 times, acute attacks of angina pectoris occurred in 8,5 times less. So before prescribing medication to patients with cardiovascular disease it is necessary to normalize their suspension blood stability.
